Alfred H. Barr Jr., director of the Collections Department at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, thanks Paulo E. de Berrêdo Carneiro, the European representative at the Second São Paulo Biennial, for the letter he sent in May and informs him that he has received other letters concerning the Pablo Picasso exhibition. He also reiterates that the museum will do everything possible to fulfil the wishes of the artist and the authorities at the event.
