Paulo E. de Berrêdo Carneiro, European representative at the São Paulo Biennial, refers to a letter from Erlarger, and asks to be informed of the procedures to follow once the negotiations are over. He mentions there is no objection to the exhibition being held in the same building as the Biennial, but in a separate hall, far away from the French government’s Cubist exhibition in order to avoid arousing suspicion.
