Minotaur Picasso
The catalogue for the homonymous exhibition, published by the Museo Reina Sofía, focusing on the years stretching from 1928 to 1937 and ending at Guernica. The exhibition recounts key moments in Picasso's career, for instance his approach to Surrealism, the beginnings of his political militancy and his leanings towards the theme of Minotauromachy, which would become an archetypical presence, intermittently, in his paintings, drawings, poems, and a large number of the etchings that made up the Vollard Suite. The volume includes both analytical texts and Picasso's 'Minotaur Poems' series.
