The Dutch artist Petro (Nelly) Van Doesburg, in charge of the studio where the replica of Guernica, commissioned by Nelson Rockefeller in 1956, was woven, confirms to Louise Boyer, the American politician’s personal assistant, that the tapestry has been finished and is on display in Antibes. She also provides her with detailed information on the work’s weight and delivery costs.
