William S. Lieberman, director of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, replies to the letter sent by the lawyer Roland Dumas, dated 12 November, providing information on the Spanish government's attempt to recover Guernica. He thanks Dumas for getting in touch and gives him dates for a possible meeting, as well as providing him with the name of a contact in Paris, authorised by the museum to deal with the matter.
