Sul filo dell'arte's plush dolls

Recreation of Picasso’s Guernica in plush dolls. Its creators, Sul filo dell'arte, make up an association of women, united by the same passion for Urban Knitting. They create colourful fabrics that end up in unexpected places: gardens, streets, museums… Precisely, this work breaks their usual light and playful style, to reflect the dark vision of Picasso. The reflect a greyscale. Just a flower in the foreground and a few more details in red and yellow punctuate the composition. The case of the flower is striking, since in the original painting it is barely perceived at first glance, while now it is a prominent element. Maybe some hope is possible.
