A letter written to William S. Lieberman, director of the Painting and Sculpture Department at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, with information on the fact that the Picasso family have hired a lawyer to deal with issues of the authentication and ownership of Picasso's works. The letter also states the gratitude towards the museum's head of restoration over the state of conservation and insurance value of Guernica.
